Eriksberg Health Center

Our 1,800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we tailor our services to the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Eriksberg Health Center is looking for a specialist in general medicine!

We are now offering a permanent full-time position as a district doctor starting by agreement. There is an opportunity to adjust the working hours according to needs and preferences.

The assignment and your competence

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine and a Swedish license. To thrive in this role, we see that you enjoy the challenge and joy of following your patients through all stages of life. You are a good communicator in Swedish, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and a willingness to drive development in the organization. There is an opportunity to take responsibility for one of our SÄBONs. The position as a district doctor within Region Uppsala includes working at our emergency clinics and on-call services.

Our operation

Eriksberg Health Center is located at Västertorg in the Eriksberg district of Uppsala. We have approximately 7,200 registered patients and about 30 employees. We offer most services within primary care, and everyone at the health center works to provide our patients with the best possible care. The broad variation from families with children to elderly patients creates a stimulating and developing workplace. The health center belongs to the Near Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. Our health centers are located throughout the county. We work with the patient, in teams at the health center, and collaborate with colleagues at different levels of care.

Eriksberg Health Center is one of two academic health centers in Region Uppsala.
